This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
